The square clock
Leaving the building and turning back, the gaze falls once again on what, in the city frequentations of Piazza San Giorgio, is the element that visually identifies the very image of the town: the Clock of the square (Photo no. 6) which , accompanied by the elegant tufaceous plastic-floral spiral decorations (Photo nr. 7), it rises superbly with its bronze green hat on the top of the municipal facade, all promptly recalled by the underlying cornices with the phytophorm frieze (Photo nr. 8).

How many strokes, how many nostalgic poignant moments of summer noon it accompanied; it has constantly marked our life as students and even before that of the innocent village raids.
Via Umberto and adjacent areas (some balconies and facades)
Continuing for a hundred meters along the adjacent Corso Umberto I, up to the kindergarten-orphanage (formerly "A. Parabita"), allows, with a fleeting glance, the delightful view of some balconies and richly decorated facades in a unmissable plastic-tuff (columns, shelves, friezes) (Photo nr. 9 and 10); if desired, a further appreciation is also that of the facade of street number 13 - in front of the home of the deceased well-known lawyer M. Scarinci - (Photo n. 11), while, for Piazza Asilo the reference is the balcony of street number 13.

A brief turnaround and, with the right contacts, a stop at the local old prisons immediately refers to the "signs" of a miserable rustic human condition. If you want to be updated and learn more about the tags, please also read the articles:
