Although the inside of this leg is empty, it is dense and does not break under the gusts of wind.
The inflorescence is spherical, consisting of many stars-flowers. At the end of flowering, seeds appear in the ball, which are used for further reproduction.
Onions can withstand low temperatures - up to minus thirty-five; under a snow cover they can survive even at minus forty degrees and below. This unpretentious culture grows both in the shade and in a lit area, but it is better to plant onions in a sunny area. It is not picky about the soil: it grows both on sandy soil and on black soil.
Before planting, the soil should be dug up, humus and wood ash should be introduced into the soil. It is not recommended to use fresh manure and fresh chicken manure as fertilizer.

To do this, they are placed in a cold place, where the temperature is about +5 degrees Celsius. After that, the material for sowing must be wrapped in damp gauze, then in a plastic bag and removed in a cold place for a month. Remove and ventilate from time to time so that the seed does not deteriorate. After a month, the seeds are placed in a dense container, buried in wet sand or gravel and left alone, and in the spring, after six months of hardening, they are sown.

Cultivation and reproduction of Suvorov onions
Suvorov's onion has a short growing season: it grows very early in spring, blooms in May-June. And in July, its seeds are already ripe, after which the plant dries up, and its bulb goes into a state of deep dormancy.

I propagate it mainly by cloves. I dig them out when the leaves are almost completely dry.
