Cherry fine-sawed Amanogawa (Prunus serrula Amanogawa)

A good option is to choose a small tree for the site, which in the spring will delight with its lush flowering. One of these is the cultivated form of the finely sawed Amanogawa cherry. This tree has a dense columnar crown up to 2 m wide and grows up to 4-7 m in height. In the spring, beautiful clusters of double, pale pink flowers appear on it. In memory of soldiers, admirals and nurses

"Victory Volunteers" in the spring of 2020 became the main initiators of the action in the country and abroad. Representatives of the movement take part in almost every public action. Today the team also helped the participants in the creation of the "Garden of Memory", but also remembered their heroes.

The forestry staff also have their own stories. Senior district forester Nikolay Belinsky planted a tree in memory of his grandfather, to whom he owes not only a peaceful sky, but also his name and choice of profession.

“My grandfather Nikolai Dmitrievich Dengin worked as an assistant forester almost all his life - with a break only for the Great Patriotic War. He began his combat path from the Kaluga region, from the defense of Moscow. He graduated in Königsberg with the rank of major. I dedicated this tree to him and many others that I planted earlier, ”the forester admitted.

Not the first and not the last tree in memory of his hero was planted by another participant of the action - a descendant Admiral, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Sergei Georgievich Gorshkov.

“He met the war in the Crimea - provided the defense of the Crimea, liberated Kerch, Novorossiysk. He spent the whole war with his family and young children, - shares memories that are passed down from generation to generation as a family heirloom, First Deputy President - Chairman of the Board of Post Bank Georgy Gorshkov... - It seems to me that it is very symbolic that the history of heroism, which affects every person in our country, turns into an environmental initiative. Trees are also an extension of us, they are a good memory. I am glad that Post Bank is participating in this initiative, and our clients have planted more than 4 million trees in several years. "

Anyone can still take part in the international action "Garden of Memory", the organizing committee recalled. To do this, you need to plant a tree at home or in the country and put it on the card of the garden memory2020.rf stock. In September, in the Patriot park near Moscow, the defense ministers of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan joined the action and planted apple trees. Landings take place abroad as well.

The organizers of the action are "Victory Volunteers" and the Victory Commanders' Memorial Fund. The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, the Federal Forestry Agency, the Presidential Grants Fund within the framework of the national project "Ecology"

Plant nursery

Our land plant nursery are located in the Priozersk region, as well as in the south of St. Petersburg (Obukhovo). Plants in our nursery are grown only in the open air, there are no sissies in the nursery, and the seedlings are adapted for life to the climatic conditions of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

Our plant nursery was originally conceived for the cultivation of conifers, namely, cedars, fir, juniper, thuja, oil etc.

I really wanted to see in the Leningrad region not only spruce with common pine, but also Far Eastern exotics, to make them familiar and familiar to our region.

But having come to grips with landscaping and landscaping, we began to need ornamental perennial plants: shrubs, trees, herbs and flowers, and their assortment must necessarily meet the needs of our chief landscape designer, and they are great.

Creating gardens for years to come, in our nursery We began to grow plants that, in the context of global warming, we were able to adapt to constantly changing conditions, when thaws are replaced by frosts, and the snow cover is replaced by stagnant ice water.

Our North-West has taken to its lands a lot of introduced species - flowering and variegated trees and shrubs: chestnuts, lindens, maples, spireas, lilacs, chubushniki, hydrangeas, roses, cinquefoil, turf, weigel, colquicia, action, vesicle, forsythia, rhododendron, honeysuckle, tree-nose pliers - tall tapeworm plants, dwarf for rock gardens, climbing vines, soil.

Skillfully selected in terms of shapes, flowering times and colors of foliage and flowers, they undoubtedly decorate any garden and, with minimal care, create the effect of continuous flowering from early spring to late autumn.

Conifers: pine trees, our favorites cedars, junipers, thuja, fir, spruce, larch, microbiota - round, horizontal, pyramidal, weeping, tall and dwarf all year round delight the eye with their greenery, although it is impossible to talk simply about greenery alone - there are golden, blue, salad and cream colors. The composition made of conifers against the background of pure white snow makes your garden lively and colorful even in winter. A large, thoroughbred, live Christmas tree.

Always there, always at hand, and there is no need to take a sin on the soul and destroy another forest beauty.

The choice of perennial flowers is fundamental: for flower beds, mixborders, ridges, for northern and shady places, for open sunny, for alpine slides, for damp and vice versa, dry and poor soils. Powerful beauties: peonies, black cohosh, rogeria aconites, delphiniums, buzulniki collections from variegated host, geyher, astilbe, phlox, daylilies, irises, primrosesmeeting spring and late autumn asters - the flow of flowering is continuous throughout the season.

Especially loved by us roses: ground cover, climbing, floribunda, hybrid tea, park. Our open-air wintering roses are at your service from early spring.

And more about favorites - this is lilies: Asian, Oriental, LA and OT hybrids, their collection changes every year. The most promising varieties in terms of beauty and weather resistance are selected, new items are introduced into the collection.

In addition to the plants already familiar to many gardeners, we took up the cultivation of plants such as exotic plants in our nursery. bean Golden rain (Laburnum an), kerria (Kerria), columnar oak (Guercus robur Fastigiata) (seeds brought from Canada), balsam fir (Abies balsamea), white acacia (Robinia pseud. L), the softest chestnut (or Chinese) etc.

In recent years, we have been fascinated by the cultivation fruit grapesresistant to our zone and have one of the largest collections in the northwest (more than 100 varieties). Here there are table varieties, and technical (wine), and raisins, uncovered and for greenhouses.
