THE AGRONOMIST ANSWERS ON HOW TO GROW AND CARE FOR PLANTS

I HAVE MANY GEMS IN MY HORTENSE, WHICH TO PRUN?

QUESTION OF TITTI

Hello,

my hydrangea, after a week of absence of water, I found it almost burnt (it was very hot and I was not at home), so I pruned it and now many buds have sprung up as to decide which ones to remove and which to leave.

Thank you

Tweety

AGRONOME ANSWERS

Hi Tweety,

my advice is not to remove a single gem for the moment. You have subjected the hydrangea to severe stress by leaving it without water in a critical period for its life and therefore you are lucky that your plant is strong and is recovering. Leave it calm by dedicating it to the usual cultural care and follow my advice onhydrangea cultivation techniques.

See you soon.
